This program offers advice, soliciting small grants and other forms of financial assistance to journalists who are finding themselves in difficult working environments; including in sickness or after being assaulted, having staged dubious court cases, and even death in the line of duty. Under this program, underprivileged and marginalized citizens’ interests are also addressed through the power of the media.
